GDP collaborated with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC) for a report, “School Milk Feeding Programs in Kenya: Impact and Community Motivation Towards Them,” with research in Kenya led by the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics.

The study investigated the factors influencing the adoption of school milk programs, surveying communities that had, or did not have, a program. The study found that successful programs need motivated school leaders and teachers and a consistent distribution network of transporters.
